Home Visits

Home visits are made for medical reasons only to the genuinely housebound patients who are too ill to travel to surgery.  Requests should be made before 10.30am. In the event of an emergency please contact 999 without delay.

All home visit requests are reviewed by the on-call doctor prior to visit. Lack of transport is not considered a valid reason for visit.  Please remember that patient care is best dealt with at the surgery as doctor has access to full medical records and facilities for examinations and treatment.
